Experienced Clinical Administrator

  • Full Time / Part time considered

Thornhills Medical Practice is looking to recruit an experienced Clinical Administrator to join our friendly team and to start as soon as possible.

The post holder will have clinical knowledge and understanding and clinical administration experience. They will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of clinical data administrative duties to support the multi-disciplinary team. Duties can include but are not limited to, read coding information into patients’ clinical records, extracting data from clinical correspondence and adding to patient clinical records, monitoring QoF targets and recall systems, running searches and audits, notes summarising. They will also be responsible for assisting with running routine daily IT checks on the server, IT fault reporting and resolution. The post holder must work as part of a team, have the ability to organise and prioritise their own workload on a day to day basis.

Paramedic Practitioner

  • Part time – 3 days per week.
  • Fixed term contract Salary – Depending on experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic, committed and caring Paramedic Practitioner to join our friendly team at Thornhills Medical Practice. This is a fixed term post for a minimum of twelve months with an anticipated start date of April 2022.

The successful post holder will be an experienced Paramedic Practitioner who, acting within their professional boundaries, will support the GPs through holding clinics and visiting patients within their own home. Under the supervision of the GP, provide general medical care, assessments, evaluation, referral and treatment for patients in clinics and in the community.

They will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care for patients within the general practice. They will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing support to GP’s and practice team as required.

Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Due to retirement, from April 2022 an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic, committed and caring Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly team at Thornhills Medical Practice.

The successful post holder will be an experienced Advance Nurse Practitioner and Independent Nurse Prescriber. They will ideally have experience of primary care and must be confident working autonomously and independently within their professional boundaries and as part of a team whilst carrying out clinical assessment, triage and consultations, providing diagnosis, treatment, evaluation of care and prescribing.

They will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care for patients within the general practice. They will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing support to GP’s and practice team as required.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Scanning and Medical Reports Administrator to join our friendly team at Thornhills Medical Practice.

The successful post holder will be responsible for undertaking a range of administrative duties including, scanning all clinical correspondences, data entry, administration of Subject Access Requests (SAR’s) and other requests for medical reports and information. The post holder must work as part of a team, have the ability to organise and prioritise their own workload on a day to day basis.
